In Pop Piano lessons, students will be trained to play by ear and are encouraged to request and choose pieces that they wish to learn. Students will be taught the following.

- Improvisation (Advanced Level)

2. CLASSICAL PIANO
a. ABRSM Graded Examination Grades 1-8 (Optional)
In preparation for graded examination, students will be taught the following.
- Three Exam Pieces From The Syllabus
- Effective Interpretation Of Music In Performance
- Interpreting Scores
- Musical Expression
- Technical Exercises, Scales & Arpeggios
- Aural Training
- Sight Reading
- Music Theory

* Kindly note that the Grade 5 theory lesson is a prerequisite for Grades 6 – 8 ABRSM practical exams
b. ARSM Diploma Graded Examination (Associated of the Royal Schools of Music)
ARSM is for students who have already passed Grade 8 practical exams. There are no scales, sight-reading or aural tests for ARSM. In preparation for this performance diploma from ABRSM, students will be taught the following.
